I loved how quiet my stay was, making it a great retreat after long days exploring nearby parks like West Bush Lake Park and enjoying delicious meals at local spots just a few steps away. the shuttle service was also super convenient for getting around.

It was just a nice choice for a brief hiatus in Bloomington with fantastic value for money. The staff was friendly and responsive when I had a minor issue with my room. Make sure to check that all amenities are in working order before settling in.

The poolside room was awesome. It had great air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Staff were super friendly and professional. The indoor pool area was huge and had a nice hot tub. Nearby restaurants were perfect for quick meals. Clean room with a kitchenette and microwave made it convenient for our family.

This was my first stay at Doubletree, and I really enjoyed the warm cookie at check-in—it felt welcoming. The location is fantastic, just a short distance from the Mall of America and various dining options. The pool area was great for the kids. spacious and a good spot to relax. However, the room itself fell short. I found the bathroom lacking in counter space, definitely could use some more elbow room. The heater in the room was problematic. it turned off randomly during the night, making it pretty uncomfortable. Also, the vending machines on my floor were out of order, so I had to skip late-night snacks. Check-out was a hassle too. I felt ignored by the front desk staff. Overall, while there were some real highlights, there were frustrating moments that really impacted my experience. I would try this hotel again if the rates were right, but I’d hope for a smoother stay next time.

So this place had its moments. The kids loved the pool area, and even though we started in the wrong room, they did move us to the right one eventually.

But it sure wasn’t inexpensive for what we ended up dealing with.
